Critically, this work is being funded through existing budget lines, without increases.

This Development Pays for Itself — and Then Some

The Village's labor contribution is being funded through the water account, which means the sale proceeds can be directed back into the water fund. The sewer fund is currently sufficient to cover the next four scheduled street upgrades, but the water fund is short. With this development, that shortfall is covered by the proceeds from land the Village already owns.
